Babcock "Sure hopes/thinks" Datsyuk is Ready

When asked if Datsyuk is healthy enough to play against the 5-2-0 Coyotes tonight in Glendale, Babcock had this to say:

“I sure think he is.  I sure hope he’s ready to go, but I don’t make those decisions. Obviously, we’d like him to play, and him and Z, the guys on the top end of our team have to get going. They gotta help us be better.”

Babcock semi-called out Zetterberg last week, and Hank has responded.  He's a point-a-game player through seven so far.


No more home games this month, as the Wings embark on their first trip to the West Coast starting today and ending on November the 3rd when they (and I) return to Joe Louis Arena.
