Datsyuk out Again Tomorrow vs Avs

Well Khan(!)'s reporting that #13 will be missing tomorrow night's action against the Colorado Avalanche. Sadly, this will be the first game at the Joe that I will not attend in this young season.

"I'm skating, shooting much better than yesterday."--Pavel Datsyuk

Hopefully, much better than friggin' Tuesday. Sorry, Pav...but you have not looked like yourself this season. Some flashes of brilliance in Sweden, but more is needed, much much more.

Lines:

Bertuzzi-Zetterberg-Cleary (Datsyuk working in)
Leino-Filppula-Williams
Helm-Abdelkader-Eaves (May working in)
Holmstrom-Draper-Maltby

Lidstrom-Kronwall
Stuart-Rafalski
Ericsson-Lebda
Meech

Osgood (starting)
Howard

Ozzie looked strong, no need to fiddle with what's working. Actually, Brett Lebda had a fairly mistake-free game last night, so good on him. The Finns/Williams line is still clicking like nobody's business and Bertuzzi and Zetterberg are getting closer and closer to figuring things out. Nightmare/Abadabbadoo/Eaves were buzzing, I see great things in the future for that line.

The Nordiques are one of those surprise teams this year...time for a reality check.

  1. You think Osgood has looked strong so far this year? He looks like the same goalie who had the worst saves percentage among NHL starters last season. That isn't strong.

  2. If I knew how to ban you, I would you fucker.

If you'd actually watched the sport and not just looked at his save percentage, Osgood HAS looked strong at times, and shit other times.

  3. Helm is still my favourite (yes I'm Canadian) player ever .

  4. I do not understand your hostility or you false assertion that I haven't watched Chris Osgood.

My best interpretation of the comment that Osgood's play has looked strong at times is that when he happened to make the save you thought it was strong. When he failed to make the save you ignored those times.

Detroit's biggest weakness is goaltending. You can stick your head in the sand and ignore it if you wish. You can pretend that anybody who points out something that obvious never watched a hockey game. None of that changes the fact that their goaltending is a weakness so far and should remain that way without some sort of personnel change.

    1st strike.

    'Detroit's biggest weakness is goaltending'

    2nd strike.

    3rd strike.

Detroit doesn't have any weaknesses. Apparently you're watching all the goals he lets in, and ignoring all the saves he makes. Almost exact same thing you said, except its right.

(Helm just made an amazing play and he gave it to Abdelkader and now we're up 1-0. Go wings!! )

  6. PSH, I think you're a douchebag that only can get hits on his blog from people like me who want to see the fucking trainwreck that it is. You are like Eklund, but somehow less talented and more of a douchebag.

Noone fucking doubts the fact that he was shit last year during the season. EVERYONE agrees. But you're consistent need to be an annoying fuckstain to continously mention that fact to get hits is annoying and should be embarrassing to a fat ass like yourself. And you're complete obliviousness to his play in the playoffs last year and times this year (and agreeably he has been off and on this year, we aren't stupid, read the fucking blog) just adds to the fact that you have a agenda against him.

Anonymous just dominated you. Noone likes you or thinks you are worth anything. Check out the comments on you're own blog. It's impressive to see the hate on your shit work. Why don't you go in the corner and die already?
